KOVAL Distillery
First distillery to open in Chicago since the 1800s. This small-batch distillery crafts whiskeys, gins, and liqueurs using a signature “heart cut” technique paired with organic and high quality ingredients.

Tasting Room
This European-cultivated room is the perfect quiet space for cocktails and conversations. I created a print and digital menu to accommodate drink decision making, perfect pairings (snacks), and coffee.

Flight Board
These flight board sheets describe the unique flavor profiles and ingredients used in KOVAL spirits. An emphasis on call to action urges consumers to purchase and take home their own spirits. To cut down on printing paper costs, a wipeable paper Synapse was used.
Museum
The museum sits right behind the store and serves as a space for patrons to linger, learn about Koval’s interesting history, and gain some basic knowledge on the distillation process. This project came to fruition through planning flat wall mockups, precision installation, and a whole lot of TLC.
